Ewerton loaned to Baník Ostrava
Brazilian winger will spend 2023/2024 season in traditional Czech team FC Baník Ostrava.
It would be Ewerton´s fourth club destination in Czech league, following Mladá Boleslav, FK Pardubice and Slavia Prague, where he transferred last summer.
Unfortunately, he did not manage to become regular part of starting XI of Slavia. He started quite well and scored some goals in UEFA Conference league, but shortly after got injured in game against FC Zlin.
Ewerton would like to get back into the shape like it was in FK Mladá Boleslav two years ago. That time, he was one of the most productive players in Czech league.
"I am happy to be in Baník, I have heard a lot about the club and fans, especially. They really love the club and football. My aim is to play my best football and help team to make good results. I would be glad to see Baník at the top of the table," says Ewerton, who scored 19 goals and 9 assists within 89 Czech top-flight appearances.
